Last Friday, December 8, the Cuban Ambassador to Cyprus Angel Gustavo Suárez Cordero offered an interview to the radio program "Recipes for bookworms" on Astra Radio (https://l1nq.com/dInf5) in which he presented the translation to Greek from the book "History of Cuba" by Dr. José Cantón Navarro. With the presence of Vera Policarpou, Secretary of the Cyprus Cuba Friendship Association.
The book was translated into Greek and printed by the Cypriot publisher Almyra. It was presented during the Nicosia Book Fair last October.
In the program, the Ambassador recognized the work of José Martí, National Hero of the Republic of Cuba. At the same time, he highlighted the legacy of the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruiz, 7 years after his physical disappearance.
