Iranian Foreign Minister signs condolences for Fidel's death

Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Mohammad Javad Zarif visited the Residence of Cuba in Tehran to express his heartfelt condolences because of the recent death of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander In Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.

 

Zarif was received by the Ambassador Vladimir Gonzalez Quesada, who thanked him for the visit and the messages of condolences previously sent by both him and President Hassan Rohaní to their Cuban counterparts, on the occasion of the unfortunate loss.

 

Vladimir also expressed that his presence in the diplomatic headquarters confirmed the respect, admiration and sympathy that the authorities and the Iranian people in general always felt for the leader of the Cuban Revolution, which is thankful by the people and government of the island.

 

In signing the book, the Iranian minister expressed his deep condolences for the death of Fidel Castro, Cuba's historic leader, who played a very important role in the struggle for freedom and against the imperialism, for sake the independence of all of America Latina.

 

He said that the struggle of Commander Fidel against the hegemonic powers will be perpetuated in the history, and that the government and people of Iran will always be on the side of the people and government of Cuba.
