Dublin, March 25, 2021. A group of Irish parliamentarians and friends of Cuba ratify in front of the Dublin Convention Center (provisional venue of Parliament) their support for the international campaign to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade that for more For 60 years the United States government has imposed on the Cuban people.
In the prolonged confrontation with the criminal blockade, the Cuban people have traditionally had the solidarity support of various Irish organizations, parties and parliamentarians of diverse political affiliations.
The government of Ireland has maintained unchanged its support for the resolution that the United Nations General Assembly passes by an overwhelming majority every year and that demands the end of the blockade.
Adapted to the sanitary limitations in force in the country and imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic for public meetings, friends of Irish solidarity are preparing in various cities to be present at the UNBLOCKCUBA international campaign on March 27 and 28.
