Latin American Poetry and Music Event takes place in Canberra

Canberra, 9 October 2024. A concert of music and poetry by Latin American women at the Wesley Music Center concert hall in Canberra. The excellent pianist Irma Enriquez performed classical works by Latin American women composers.

It was an excellent activity where Cuba was represented in the art of Nancy Morejon “Mujer Negra” and the composer Gisela Hernandez “Toque de Clave”. Women, music and poetry was the reason that also had students from different Australian universities to express in Spanish the verses of each of the Latin American countries represented.
