Latvia reaffirms position against the US Embargo to Cuba

Helsinki.- March 12, 2023.- The Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, held a virtual exchange with the Director of the Division of the Americas and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, H.E. Mrs. Inga Katriina.

During the meeting, both parts reviewed issues on the bilateral agenda, on topics of greatest interest to Cuba and Latvia.

The Cuban diplomat thanked Latvia for its support against the US blockade, a position that both Latvian authorities reiterated in this online dialogue.

The Cuban specialist at the Latvian Foreign Ministry, Counselor Gundega Purpure, also participated in this moment.
