Leader of the South African Communist Party is received at the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Havana, October 27, 2022.- The Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elio Rodríguez, received the South African Communist Party General Secretary, Solly Mapaila. Miriam Morales, official from the Department of International Relations at the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, also participated in the meeting.

In the fruitful exchange, they advocated deepening relations between the parties. Likewise, the strength of the solidarity ties between Cuba and South Africa was recognized. The Cuban Deputy Minister thanked the General Secretary for the support of the South African communists in favor of lifting the embargo.
