Pretoria, April 25.- For the second time this year, a public march was held in South Africa to demand the end of the criminal and illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba for more than 60 years.
Gathered next to the gigantic bronze statue of Nelson Mandela, in front of the official headquarters of the South African national government in the city of Pretoria, leaders and members of the Association of Cuban Residents in South Africa, of the Association of Solidarity with Cuba, of various political and trade union organizations in South African and a representation of the Island's cooperators in this brother country made public their demand for the end of the blockade and in favor of the Cuban family so cruel and unjustly affected by the genocidal policy of the United States against Cuba.
The hundreds of participants wore outfits with the colors of the Cuban flag and made colorful posters for the day, which said goodbye to the rhythm of Cuban music. Once again, the solidarity and friendship between the Cuban and South African peoples and the love of the Cuban emigration for their homeland was confirmed.
The march in South Africa joined similar demonstrations against the blockade held today in many cities around the world.
