On Sunday, December 17, 2017, representatives of the Embassy of Cuba in South Africa held a fruitful meeting with Cuban doctors working in the hospital Job ShimankanaTabane, located in the city of Rustenburg, North West province.
The meeting counted with the presence of the new ambassador of Cuba in South Africa, Rodolfo Benitez, and Miriam Morales, an official of the Central Committee of the Party, who is attending the sessions of the National Conference of the African National Congress, as well as other officials of the Cuban Embassy.
The meeting was conducive to exchange about the living and working conditions of our donors and the challenges for 2018. Equally, information was provided to our doctors about the situation in Cuba, the updating of the Cuban economic model, the election process and others themes of interest.
The collective of Cuban doctors in Rustenburg received well-deserved recognition from the Embassy for the consecration and professionalism with which they carry out their important humanitarian work, which is so grateful by the brotherly South African people
