Pretoria, March 5, 2019.- As part of the program of meetings developed by the cultural delegation that visits South Africa, the vice president of ARTEX, Migdalia Torres Valdivia and the official of the Ministry of Culture of Cuba, Yanicia Garzón Kindelán, held a working meeting in the Department of Trade and Industry of South Africa. On the South African side, the meeting was chaired by Sandile Tyini, director of Commercial and International Relations and Economic Development.
The vice president of ARTEX, made a broad presentation on the main commercial interests and agencies of the company ARTEX, dedicated to the commercialization of cultural goods and services of Cuba; as well as the corresponding portfolio of products and services. A digital catalog with expanded information on the current offers of that company was delivered to the representatives of South Africa.
Among the topics of greatest interest for the South African side was the implementation of the "Casa Cuba" project, which provides the possibility of creating centers in South Africa that combine Cuban cultural goods and services, where they also establish craft shops, discography, literature cubana y guayaberas, a typical Cuban item appreciated in South Africa.
