Meeting with representative of Socialist Action (Akcja Socjalistyczna)
Warsaw, February 20, 2026—The Cuban ambassador to Poland, Ibete Fernández, and the Third Secretary of the Embassy, Brenda Cantalapiedra, received a representative of the youth organization Socialist Action (Akcja Socjalistyczna) at the Mission headquarters.
During the meeting, Mr. Hubert, a member of the organization's board of directors, provided information about its operations and composition and discussed the possibility of developing joint projects with the diplomats.
It was an important meeting that will allow for the continued strengthening of relations with progressive organizations in Poland.
Acción Socialista has condemned the US government's aggression against Cuba on its social media and has also called for an end to the energy blockade imposed by the US, which threatens to create a humanitarian crisis.
