Canberra, 2 June 2024. Members of the Cuban Embassy joined the “From Australia to Cuba with Love” Campaign, together with members of the Canberra branch of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society (ACFS).
Participants walked 20 km from the Cuban embassy headquarters to the Old Parliament in Canberra. One group rode bicycles, others by car and one participant rode a motorcycle.
The activity was a very positive experience that concluded with the denunciation of the U.S. blockade against Cuba and the demand for the exclusion of Cuba from the infamous List of State Sponsors of Terrorism.
