Havana, April 13, 2024. Members of the Inner Wheel Club of The Hawkesbury arrived in the Cuban capital carrying donations of medicines and other items for the children admitted to the pediatric ward of the Oncology Hospital of Havana.
The members of the organization were received by doctors of the Hospital, as well as by members of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the peoples, with whom they were able to have a friendly exchange. The project "A Cuba hay que quererla" in conjunction with the Cuban Embassy in Australia served as facilitators of this gesture of solidarity.
As part of their stay in Havana, the members of the Inner Wheel Club carried out exchanges at the Universidad de Las Artes de Cuba, as well as with other social projects such as Quisicuaba.
