Cuba, June 11, 2019.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, will begin a visit of Caribbean countries on Tuesday, which will run until June 18. The journey includes the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia, the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and Barbados. He will also head the delegation that will participate in the VI CARICOM-Cuba Ministerial Meeting, to be held in Guyana on June 14.
This visit will be propitious to reaffirm the historical bilateral relations of Cuba with the countries of the area, exchange on topics of common interest, and ratify the will to continue strengthening the historic bonds of friendship and cooperation.
The Cuban Foreign Minister will carry out a broad program of activities that includes exchanges with high-level officials of the nations visited, with collaborators and Cubans residing in those countries.
The Cuban delegation is also integrated by the General Director of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Foreign Ministry, Eugenio Martínez Enríquez, and the Cuban Ambassadors in these countries.
