Kingstown, August 28, 2026.— The Honourable Fitzgerald Bramble, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry, where various matters of interest to the bilateral relations between the two nations were addressed.
The meeting, held in a cordial and fraternal atmosphere, provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on the current state of relations between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as on prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The meeting reaffirmed the willingness of both countries to continue working towards strengthening their relations of friendship, solidarity and cooperation, grounded in the historic ties that unite the Cuban and Vincentian peoples.
Minister Bramble reiterated the support and solidarity of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines towards Cuba in the face of the difficult situation confronting the country, while emphasizing the importance of continuing to uphold the principles of solidarity, cooperation and respect for the sovereignty of nations.
The Cuban Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for its steadfast solidarity with Cuba and underscored the importance that Cuba attaches to its relations with this Caribbean nation.
The exchange contributed to reaffirming the commitment to continue deepening bilateral ties and cooperation between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Cuban Embassy to St. Vincent and the Grenadines/Cubaminrex).
