Mission of Cuba in Qatar celebrates National Rebellion Day

 

Doha, July 26, 2018. - The State Mission of Cuba in Qatar commemorated the 65th anniversary of the attacks to Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes garrisons. The event was hosted by the Cuban Hospital in Dukhan and had the participation of health collaborators, officials of the Embassies of Cuba and Venezuela and a representation of Cubans residents in the country.

During the political-cultural activity, a well-deserved tribute was paid to the Commander in Chief and the participants of that feat; as well as Commander Hugo Chávez Frías on the 64th Anniversary of his birth, next July 28.

The Medical Director of the Cuban Hospital, Dr. Ángel Mario Felipe Garmendia, read the letter of the Chief of the medical collaboration in Qatar on the occasion of the date and the recognition obtained for the third consecutive year by the Medical Brigade in Qatar, delivered by the Cuban Minister of Health, Dr. Roberto Morales Ojeda.

Yadirys Echenique Paz, Chargé d'Affaires ai, stated that: "At present, when we face new challenges, transformations and updates, the Martian maxim is more important than ever:" With all and for the good of all, "because the success of the Revolution will depend on the work and commitment of each one of us for the achievement of a society that has -as a center- the cult of the full dignity of man."
