Ulan Bator, May 5, 2018. Invited by the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and the German Fiedrich Ebert Foundation, the Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción participated in the Conference for the 200th Anniversary of the Birth of Karl Marx, held at the National University of Mongolia. The event brought together professors and Mongolian political scientists who gave lectures on the historical importance that the birth of the famous German philosopher, historian, sociologist, economist, writer and socialist thinker meant for humanity.
The speakers' interventions highlighted the figure of Karl Marx as the founder of scientific communism, of the philosophy of dialectical and historical materialism, of scientific political economy, and his indisputable role as leader and teacher of the international proletariat. In the event chaired by Mr. N. Enkhbayar, President of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and Mrs. N. Ulziisaihan, Director of the Department of Philosophy, a volume was presented containing numerous articles by many of the Mongolian professors and academics. titled: “Why is the Revolution happening?”.
All presentations had their point of coincidence in the validity of the thought and work of Karl Marx in relation to the problems that the world proletariat faces today in the current globalized capitalist economy.
In the event was also present the Hon. Ms. Doan Thi Huong, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Mongolia, among other members of the accredited diplomatic corps in Ulan Bator. (EmbaCuba Mongolia).
