Ulaanbaatar, October 3, 2019.- The President of the Mongolia-Cuba Friendship Association, Mr. Khamba Lama Dr. Ch. Dambajav held a meeting this morning with the Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción with the aim of updating the President of this organization on the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the government of the United States of America against Cuba for almost six decades to Cuba.
The Ambassador pointed out that the US blockade of our people is the most unjust, severe and prolonged unilateral sanctions system that has been applied against any country and that in the last year its resurgence has continued to be the central axis of the State government's policy United to Cuba. Its effects on extraterritorial application have been increasingly noticeable during the past year and beginning of 2019.
Dr. Dambajav said that the people and government of Mongolia recognizes that this system of unilateral sanctions is unfair, severe and unjustified, which is why they have always supported Cuba in its just battle for its elimination.
Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción thanked the President of the Friendship Association for his words of support and efforts from the Friendship Association for the total elimination of this policy, thanking its members for the sustained work of solidarity with Cuba from this Asian nation.
