Pretoria, 16 October 2025. On Thursday afternoon, Mr Fakri Rodríguez Pinelo presented to Mr Clayson Monyela, Acting Chief of State Protocol at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, the Copies of the Letters of Credence accrediting him as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of South Africa.
During the meeting, the Cuban ambassador emphasized the historic bilateral relations between our peoples and governments, advocating for the strengthening of economic, commercial and cooperation ties. In turn, the South African diplomat reiterated his country's willingness to consolidate and deepen the relations.
The two diplomats agreed on the importance of continue to promoting fruitful cooperation at different levels to strengthen ties between Havana and Pretoria.
