Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis. - On Wednesday morning, Giuvel Orozco Ortega presented to Her Excellency Dame Marcella Liburd, Governor General of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, the Letters of Credence that accredit him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Caribbean nation.
Within the framework of the meeting, the Cuban diplomat highlighted the historical relations between the two nations and reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening them. For her part, the Governor General expressed appreciation for Cuba’s contribution in areas such as education and health and reiterated her government’s commitment to consolidating and deepening existing ties.
Both parties agreed on the importance of continuing to promote cooperation between the two nations, recognizing the existing potential.
