New scholarships granted to Mongolian students to study in Cuba.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. August 9, 2019. The Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia, Raúl Delgado Concepción held a meeting with the three young Mongolians selected for scholarships to study on the island as part of the cooperation program that Cuba offers annually to this Asian nation.  Invited by the diplomatic misión, were present also the President of the Association of Mongolian Graduates in Cuba and several of its members.

The three young students, accompanied by their relatives, received the ballots that accredited them as beneficiaries of the scholarship for free studies in Cuba. They  were able to learn about the effort made by the Caribbean nation to welcome thousands of young students from numerous countries as a modest contribution to the formation of the human resources of these nations.

In his words the Ambassador stressed that these scholarships for studies in higher education contribute directly to the development of human resources in Mongolia and other third world countries and that this modest but important contribution of Cuba, is part of the ideology and the immense work of solidarity created by our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.

In 60 years of Revolution, more than 160 young students from Mongolia have graduated in Cuba in different specialties including medicine, stomatology, engineering, pharmacy and sports, among others. On this occasion two of the three young people will study Medicine and one of them will study Biochemistry and will be joining the group of 16 students currently studying on the island.
