Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. February 23, 2018. The National News Agency of Mongolia MONTSAME and the Latin American Press Agency (Prensa Latina) signed today a cooperation agreement that will allow the exchange of news and collaboration in the area of journalism between both countries. Mrs. Ganchimeg Badamdorj, General Director of MONTSAME and Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción on behalf of the Latin American Press Agency signed the agreement that will allow both agencies to exchange their daily news dispatches in English language and via Internet.
At the signing ceremony, the Director General of MONTSAME highlighted in her words the advances of Cuba in the field of health and biotechnology, as well as the contribution made by the island in the training of young Mongols in careers in medicine, stomatology, Spanish language among others. Mrs. Badamdorj briefly mentioned the history since the founding of both agencies and the significance that in terms of mutual knowledge for the cultures and history of our peoples represents the signing of this agreement.
The Ambassador for his part stressed the importance for our country of the history, culture and events of the Mongolian present and how this agreement constitutes a step forward in the rapprochement of both peoples. The Cuban diplomat stressed that today the willingness of both agencies to work to strengthen their bilateral relations, pledging to give the most coverage to the dates, events and significant events for each country, as well as its history and socio-cultural life.
