The Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Cuba, Tanieris Diéguez La O, and the Cultural Attaché, David Ramírez Álvarez, took part in the official presentation of Marta Turok as the new Executive Director of the Mexican Cultural Institute. The event brought together a broad diplomatic representation, as well as institutional leaders and prominent figures from the artistic and cultural spheres, in a setting conducive to exchange and the promotion of cultural initiatives with international reach.
In this context, the Cuban representatives highlighted the deep cultural and historical ties that unite Cuba and Mexico, shaped by a shared heritage in the arts, music, literature, and popular traditions. They also underscored the importance of continuing to promote spaces for collaboration that strengthen this bond, fostering artistic exchange and cultural dialogue as pillars of mutual understanding and closeness between both peoples.
