Pretoria, April 22, 2024 - Officials of the Cuban State Mission in Pretoria held a fruitful meeting with the Director of Bilateral Relations and Cooperation of the National Department of Tourism of South Africa, Mr. Dumisani Nyalynga. The counsellor for economic affairs, Aldo Javier Valdés, and the third secretary, Bryan Betancourt Brito participated, as well as the head of the UNECA brigade in South Africa, Rolando Macías.
Both parties highlighted the potential offered by health tourism, as well as the possibilities for cooperation in this area and discussed the identification by both countries of ways to promote tourism.
The Cuban side highlighted the upcoming celebration of the 42nd edition of the International Tourism Fair, FITCuba 2024, to which Minister Patricia de Lille was invited.
