Canberra, 26 January 2024. On 26 January 2024, an online consular counseling session was held for Cuban residents in Australia. It was coordinated by the Consular Section of the Embassy of Cuba based in Canberra.
Cuban residents had the opportunity to update on topics of interest on consular matters and clarify doubts concerning formalities and procedures through WhatsApp groups created for this purpose.
This initiative, which began the last Friday on January, will be held on the last Friday of each month as an effective and dynamic mechanism for interaction between the Consular Section and the Cuban community residing in Australia. The aim is to provide a quality consular assistance, support Cubans and strengthen ties between the nation and its emigrants.
