Parliamentary Friendship Group Mongolia-Cuba ratifies the brotherhood of our governments and peoples

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. December 21, 2018. - Mr. Bat-Erdene Badmaanuambun, Member of the Great State Hural of Mongolia (Parliament of Mongolia) and Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Mongolia-Cuba, accompanied by also members of Parliament Mr. Terbishdagva Dendev and Mr. Bolorchuluun Khayangaa, were received at the Cuban diplomatic headquarters by Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción, in a gathering in which they reviewed the main advances in economic, commercial and political cooperation between both countries.

The members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group recognized the need to strengthen exchanges between the Parliaments of Cuba and Mongolia, as well as between the two friendship parliamentary groups established in each country.

The Cuban Ambassador extensively explained to the members of Parliament the work done by the diplomatic mission during 2018 for the expansion and consolidation of ties of friendship and economic cooperation between both countries. The Ambassador added that the areas of health, biotechnological pharmaceuticals, sports, civil defense, education, among others, have been the ones in which concrete results of collaboration have been obtained, and in which they will continue to work during 2019.

The Mongolian Parliamentarians on their part highlighted the deep friendship between both peoples and the visits made by members of this Mongolian legislative body to Cuba in 2010 and 2013 to its counterpart the National Assembly of People's Power, reaffirming their interest to visit the island again next year to continue strengthening the bonds of friendship between both parliaments.
