Ireland, June 24, 2017 The Cuban Embassy participated in Day E activities at the Instituto Cervantes in Dublin.
Day E or Spanish Day is a festive commemoration promoted by the Instituto Cervantes whose aim is to spread the Spanish culture, celebrate its importance in the world and encourage the unity of its speakers.
During the day there were children's activities, readings, competition and the gastronomic fair. In this last one the Embassy offered of the Cuban kitchen, the dish "tambor de malanga" with hash and the traditional "mojitos" which had good acceptance of the participants.
It was also an occasion to spread popular Cuban locutions, distributing materials with "Examples of Cubanisms" extracted from ECURED, the Cuban Collaborative Encyclopedia and highlight the prize received by it in Category No. 3 of the World Summit of the Americas Information Society "that were granted last June 13 in Geneva.
