Participation in FIHAV 2026 is promoted in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Kingstown, September 22, 2026 — Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry, held a working meeting with President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Anthony Regisford, during which they discussed matters of bilateral interest and exchanged views on the possibilities for participation by the Vincentian business sector in the Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2026), to be held in Cuba in November.

Both sides discussed the opportunities offered by this important event to strengthen trade relations between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as to facilitate direct contact among businesspeople, producers, exporters and importers from both countries.

The Cuban Ambassador highlighted the opportunities provided by FIHAV 2026 as a platform for promoting products, identifying new business opportunities, and establishing commercial contacts with Cuban companies and businesses from other participating markets.

Anthony Regisford expressed the Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s interest in continuing to promote among the Vincentian business community the opportunities for exchange with Cuba and to explore avenues for greater participation in trade promotion events.

The meeting reaffirmed the willingness of both sides to continue working to strengthen ties between the business communities of Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, thereby contributing to the development of new opportunities for economic and commercial cooperation (Embassy of Cuba in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines/Cubaminrex).
