Kingstown, 7 May 2024 - The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health and Environment of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Mr. Cuthbert Knights received the ambassador of Cuba to this country, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry and the head of the Cuban Medical Brigade, Dr. Ulises Castillo Sanz.
During the meeting both parties reviewed the issues associated with the work of the Brigade, its living conditions and evaluated elements linked to the updating of the bilateral agreement between the two nations on health.
The Permanent Secretary thanked Cuba for its historic support in this area, while the Ambassador expressed the hope for the continuity and expansion of the collaboration (Cuban Embassy in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines/Cubaminrex).
