Polish intellectual expresses solidarity with the Cuban people
Warsaw, February 27—Polish-German independent journalist and intellectual Stanislaw Strasberger visited the Cuban embassy to express his solidarity with the Cuban people.
In his meeting with Ambassador Ibete Fernández Hernández and Third Secretary Brenda Cantalapiedra, Strasberger praised the Cuban people's resilience, unity, and commitment to peace. He also criticized the current international order that seeks to impose itself in violation of international law.
The visitor recalled his participation in the Sixth International Conference for World Balance in January 2025, where he was able to appreciate the relevance of Martí's thinking, capable of uniting people of different ideologies in pursuit of values that dignify humanity.
The Cuban ambassador provided an update on the situation in Cuba, aggravated by the imposition of the blockade on oil exports to the island, and presented him with the Declaration of the Network in Defense of Humanity, entitled For Cuba, for humanity: An urgent call for anti-imperialist solidarity, which she promised to distribute among her contacts.
