Victoria, October 29, 2025._ The President of the National Assembly of People's Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández, sent a congratulatory message to the Honorable Azarel Ernesta on the occasion of her election as President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Seychelles.
"On behalf of the members of the National Assembly of People's Power of the Republic of Cuba and on my own behalf, I convey our sincere congratulations on your election as Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Seychelles and, at the same time, for being the first woman to hold this position in the history of the nation.
In his letter, Lazo Hernández conveyed to his counterpart his interest in continuing to strengthen interparliamentary relations between both legislative bodies and in international forums.
