DOHA, Qatar – As part of the historical bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Cuba and the State of Qatar, the Cuban Ambassador to the Arab nation, José Enrique Enríquez Rodríguez, was received at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al-Hammadi, Secretary-General of the Ministry.
During the audience, the Cuban diplomatic representative delivered a written message sent by the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, addressed to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.
The exchange provided a valuable opportunity to review the current status of bilateral ties and to explore new avenues for expanding and strengthening cooperation in key areas of mutual interest. Both officials reaffirmed the commitment of their respective governments to continue fostering high-level political dialogue and mutual support.
