Dublin, May 12, 2022: The President of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba, Deputy Thomas Pringle, was received by the Cuban Ambassador to Ireland, Bernardo Guanche Hernández. During the meeting, the Head of the Diplomatic Mission thanked the Irish parliamentarians for their solidarity and friendship, who have supported the Island in its hard battle against the intensified US blockade and have spoken out for the cessation of the hostile US policy. Likewise, Pringle expressed his condolences for the serious consequences of the accident that occurred at the Saratoga Hotel last Friday.
At the meeting, the interest of the Irish and Cuban parliamentarians in continuing to strengthen their respective Friendship groups between the two parliaments was ratified.
