Pretoria, November 28, 2018.- The newly elected new President of the Senate of Eswatini, Mrs. Lindiwe Dlamini, received the Cuban Ambassador in that country, Rodolfo Benítez Verson, at the venue of the National Parliament in the city of Lobamba.
During the meeting, the Senator reiterated the excellent relations that exist between the two countries and the recognition of their authorities in Eswatini to the work performed by Cuban doctors in the country.
Ambassador Benítez Verson, for his part, reiterated the Cuban Government's willingness to continue to contribute in solidarity with the Swazi health system.
He also thanked the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini for the permanent support to our country in its fight against the blockade imposed by the Government of the United States, including the vote with Cuba in the 10 votes that took place on November 1 at the UN, in occasion of the examination of the resolution on the subject proposed by the Island.
