President of the UNESCO Chair makes an approach to Cuba from Finland

Helsinki, June 10, 2022.- This Friday morning, the Cuban Ambassador, Beatriz Parra González, held an interesting exchange with the renowned scientist Pekka Neittaanmäki, professor at the University of Jyväskylä.

In the dialogue, the Cuban diplomat presented some of the projects that Cuba promotes in the area of ​​new technologies and the digital sphere, while highlighting the country's development in this sphere, despite the scope of the blockade in it.

For his part, Professor Neittaanmäki referred to the UNESCO Chair that he chairs on "Digital platforms for the transformation of economies" and endorsed the opportunity to develop joint projects with universities in Cuba.
