Prime Minister of Lesotho condemns blockade on Cuba at the UN

Pretoria, September 27, 2025.- The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Honourable Sam Matekane, head of the kingdom's delegation to the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, condemned the application of unilateral economic sanctions against Cuba and demanded their immediate and unconditional lifting.

The Basotho leader stressed that the peoples of Cuba and Zimbabwe have been suffering for too long because of these sanctions.
