Raúl Castro presides over extraordinary session of the Cuban Parliament

The leader of the Cuban Revolution, Raúl Castro, and the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, lead today the second extraordinary session of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP).

The deputies of the 10th Legislature will evaluate on this day the draft Social Communication Law, a regulation that has been six years in the making, a period during which hundreds of people participated in the drafting and consultation process.

Other topics to be discussed this Thursday in the ANPP are the update of the economic situation of the country, the analysis and approval of the legislative schedule for the current term, the creation of the permanent work commissions and the parliamentary friendship groups.
