Red Spark, issued a statement as Open Letter in support of Cuba and against the embargo.

Brisbane, February 1, 2024. The Australian solidarity organization Red Spark, issued a statement in the form of an Open Letter in support of Cuba and against the Blockade and the unjust inclusion in the list of countries sponsoring Terrorism. 

In the document they point out the direct material impact on Cuba's ability to trade, receive investment and visitors and support its population. The solidarity group emphasized that “this action goes against everything that is known about Cuba, a country that offers in solidarity doctors and vaccines to the whole world and not terrorists. The inclusion of Cuba in this list is in itself an unjustified aggression against the country and its people by the United States”.
