Pretoria, 20 June 2024 - The Cuban VicePresident, Salvador Valdés Mesa, together with the delegation accompanying him, visited the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in South Africa.
He held a fraternal meeting with officials and staff of the diplomatic mission. Also present were representatives of the cooperation that Cuba maintains in the African country in the fields of education, health, public works (UNECA) and water resources, who shared the achievements and results of the cooperation between the island and the Republic of South Africa, which since 1996 has enabled thousands of Cubans to provide solidarity aid to the brotherly people.
During the exchange, Valdés Mesa commented on the results of his visit to this African country and referred to several topics of current interest in Cuba and the implementation of the country's various priorities for this year.
