The Cuban nurse, resident in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Arianna Israel-Taylor, a member of the Heberprot-P team at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, attended the International Congress "Controlling Diabetes and Its most severe complications," held in December 2016 at the Hotel Melia Marina Convention Center in Varadero.
Ariana Israel, who is also the President of the Association of Cuban Residents in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, is one of the initiators of the Heberprot-P Implementation Program on the sister Caribbean island and promoter of both the drug and the prevention of Diabetes.
After a successful first phase of use of Heberprot-P in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, where the effectiveness of the Cuban product was 93.3%, the participation of nurse Ariana in the congress, contributes to put the Vincentian team of Heberprot-P in contact with the latest techniques of prevention and control of Diabetes, and to update it on the procedures in the treatment of complex diabetic foot ulcers, with emphasis on the use of Heberprot-P.
