The Secretary General of AKEL is received by the Head of IR of the Communist Party of Cuba.

The Head of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Emilio Losada, received the Secretary General of the Progressive Party of the Working People (AKEL), Stefanous Stefanou, on the afternoon of 6 May. 

During the meeting both parties shared the will to continue to deepen the relations between the two parties and agreed on the importance of working for unity in diversity of all left forces.

The Secretary General of AKEL has an extensive work schedule in Cuba until 8 May. He has also been received by the authorities of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples and the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
