Nicosia, Cyprus - The iconic entrance to the Archaeological Park of Paphos was filled with rhythm and joy on the evening of 23 September, when the renowned traditional Cuban music group, El Septeto Santiaguero, performed to hundreds of enthusiasts. The evening vibrated with the infectious sounds of Cuban music, taking the audience on an unforgettable cultural journey.
The event, organised by the Municipality of Paphos and sponsored by the Cuban Embassy in Cyprus, was attended by MP Henry Jiang, who attended on behalf of the Mayor of the city, as well as the Cuban Ambassador to Cyprus, Angel Gustavo Suárez Cordero.
During the performance, the Septeto Santiaguero offered a varied repertoire that included classics of Cuban music, enchanting all present with their energy and virtuosity. The audience not only enjoyed the music, but also had the opportunity to experience a vital part of Cuban culture, creating an atmosphere of celebration and fraternity.
