Dublin, April 25, 2023. During a ceremony held on April 20, at the University of Cork, on the occasion of the visit of the Cuban ambassador, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, was conclude the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Cooperation between the Irish Society for Latin American Studies of the University College of Cork and the Institute of Cuban History, represented by the Vice President of the University of Cork, Professor Stephen Byrne and Dr. Yoel Cordoví Núñez, President of the Institute of Cuban History.The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding is to foster academic exchange and cooperation between the two institutions in areas of mutual interest and benefit, in particular, by sharing their publicly available scientific, educational, and academic materials.
