Signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in animal health between Cuba and Poland.

Warsaw, February 18—The Cuban Animal Health Center (CENASA) and the Polish General Veterinary Inspectorate, represented by Dr. Cristobal Arredondo Alfonso, Director General of CENASA, and Pawel Meyer, Chief Veterinarian of Poland, signed a memorandum of cooperation in the veterinary field in this capital.

The signed document aims to consolidate relations between the two institutions, expand cooperation in the exchange of information and experiences to prevent the spread of diseases, and promote mutual trade through cooperation in the import, export, and re-export of products subject to state veterinary control.

During its stay, the CENASA delegation visiting Poland will carry out control audits of meat and dairy production and export centers with a view to marketing these products in Cuba.

Both parties congratulated each other on the effective collaboration they have carried out during several years of joint work.
