Dublin, May 15, 2026. At the New Theatre of the Communist Party of Ireland headquarters, and co-sponsored by the party, the solidarity organization Cuba Support Group (CSG) hosted the premiere of the documentary “The Earth’s Greatest Enemy,” by renowned American journalist Abigail Suzanne Martin, about the impact of US militarism on the environment.
In a circulated document, the CSG called for solidarity with Cuba in the face of the oil blockade the country has suffered since January 29. Highlighted the achievements of the Cuban Revolution in social justice, literacy, healthcare, and education for all Cubans, among other areas, and the solidarity it has provided to other countries around the world.
Zusel González, the young woman whose parents are Cuban and Irish and who live in Ireland, shared her positive experiences in Cuba and called for support for the Caribbean nation and its revolution, which she described as an example for the world.
The activity included the participation of the Cuban ambassador to Ireland, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, and the CSG National Coordinators, Simon McGuiness and Nina Blodau.
