During the closure of the sixth bilateral technical committee on the subject, where they reviewed the agreements established in this area in force until 2024, the representative of the African nation conveyed a greeting from its president, Cyril Ramaphosa, to the Cuban people and to President Miguel Díaz- Canel.
According to a local television report, the message emphasized the historic friendly relations between the island and South Africa, to which the first vice president of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources, Bladimir Matos, also alluded.
The Cuban official also ratified the gratitude of the Caribbean nation for the South African support in the fight against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba.
Both parties expressed their willingness to expand cooperation and face new challenges together, to achieve greater results and advance bilateral relations.
