Havana, September 21, 2022.- The South African Basic Education Minister, Mrs. Angie Motshekga, heads a large delegation that is making an official visit to Cuba. Officials from the Department of Basic Education and members of the Executive Committee of the provinces of Mpumalanga and Limpopo are part of this delegation.
The South African minister, along with the accompanying delegation, visited the Fidel Castro Ruz Center, where she was received by the Deputy Director, Elier Peña Ramírez.
Mrs. Motshekga also visited different technical and vocational, as well as preschool education centers in the province of Pinar del Río. She also met today with her Cuban counterpart, Ena Elsa Velázquez Cobiella, an opportunity where essential issues of bilateral relations in this field were addressed.
