South Africa’s ANC Veterans’ League in solidarity with Cuba

Pretoria, March 17, 2026.—Veterans of South Africa’s liberation struggles, organized under the ANC Veterans’ League, held an emotional virtual meeting in which they reaffirmed their unwavering solidarity with Cuba in the face of ongoing threats from U.S. imperialism against the island.

Longtime friends of the Cuban Revolution such as Ronnie Kasrils, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, and Pallo Jordan, as well as a hundred South African comrades, proved to the world, once again, that Cuba is not alone.

Cuban Ambassador Fakri Rodríguez thanked them for their unwavering determination to stand with Cuba through solidarity initiatives.
