Helsinki, June 9, 2022.- This Thursday morning, the Ambassador of Spain in Finland, H.E. Luis Tejada received his counterpart from Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, in a courtesy meeting. In the exchange, the Spanish diplomat highlighted part of the experience accumulated in these four years that he has served in the Nordic nation.
For her part, the Cuban Ambassador shared current issues for the Greater Antilles, on the confrontation with Covid-19 and obtaining three vaccines, as well as the control of the pandemic. Similarly, she referred to the impact of the blockade on the daily life of ordinary Cubans, intensified during the pandemic period, with the adoption of 240 more measures by the United States Government.
In her account on the social network twitter, the ambassador highlighted "We appreciate the valuable advice you shared with us for the cultural work of Cuba in the dissemination of Ibero-American values in Finland."
