The Dominica - Cuba Friendship Association issued an Statement today, March 27, 2021, against the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the US government against Cuba and to support all the caravans and expressions against the blockade that will take place this weekend in a large number of countries. During the entire day of saturday march 27th and sunday march 28th, all over the world there will be expressions of solidarity with Cuba and against the inhuman and genocidal blockade of the US government against the Cuban people. Two days ago, social networks have published photos and videos of people in various parts of the world demanding the end of the blockade, expressions that will be completed with the caravans that will take place in various countries including the US itself.
As Cuba is brutally blockaded, its generous people continue to show their solidarity by sending doctors to fight COVID-19. Dominica is a beneficiary of is such humane action were. The Henry Reeve brigade was here for 6 months and a permanent brigade of Cuban Health Collaborators provide Primary and Specialist Health Care and also attend the cases of COVID – 19.
The Dominica Cuba Friendships Association joins all the voices in the world that demand the end of the blockade. It is about a just claim expressed by these Civil Movements and in the almost in these civil movements and in the almost unanimous vote of the countries that takes place each year in the United Nations, in favor of the Cuban Resolution that demands an end to this blockade.
