Statement of the Medical Brigade in view of the kidnapping of our collaborators in Kenya

Eswatini, April 16, 2019.- From the Kingdom of Eswatini, the 21 cooperators that make up the Cuban medical brigade in this country in the southern cone of Africa, join the worldwide demand for the release of our colleagues, doctors Assel Herrera and Landy Rodríguez, Cuban doctors kidnapped in the county from Mandera, Kenya, where they fulfill an internationalist mission.
We demand your return soon and with life. We support the statements of the Cuban government in this regard, through our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Ministry of Public Health and we join the unconditional support for their families.
We trust that all the necessary efforts will be made for its location and rescue. We also reiterate our deep commitment to maintain solidarity and internationalism towards the peoples of the world, especially with the African peoples, for the right to peace, for the right to life, we remain united to the claim of the return alive of our doctors.
